Problem
Project details get scattered across messages and separate lists, making it hard to see the work and keep its context together.
Implementation
A Go application with server-rendered pages and HTMX interactions, backed by PostgreSQL for team, project, task, and account data.
What it does
The application includes project and task management, team membership, task comments, list and board views, and search.
A workspace for the work itself
Project Atlas is an independent software project built around a familiar business need: keep projects, tasks, and the conversations about them in one place.
The application uses Go on the server, PostgreSQL for persistence, and HTMX for interactive updates. It is an example of the kind of focused internal tool Carbon Studios can build around a team’s workflow.
Implemented in the application
- Project and task management, including status, priorities, archiving, and restoration.
- Team membership to organize a shared workspace.
- Task comments that keep discussions connected to the work.
- List and board views for different ways of reviewing tasks.
- Search and a command palette for finding work and navigating the application.
Why it belongs in the portfolio
Atlas demonstrates full-stack application work beyond a marketing website: relational data, account-aware workflows, and interactive interfaces without a large client-side framework.
This is an independent build, not a client engagement. It is shown here as an application-development example; a public demo is not currently linked.
